Bob Cunningham
Ice fishing legend Bob Cunningham passed away on October 10, 2008. He had been battling cancer. I’m sure Bob was more than an ice fishing legend, but I met him through the Ice Team fishing tournaments. He gave me and my partner (and probably others) a map of the lake we were about to fish. My first thought was why is he helping us? After all, we are the competition. But that’s what Bob Cunningham was all about - helping others. He was always helping out with the Ice Team and the North American Ice Fishing Circuit (NAIFC) kids clinics. (more…)

The chill has returned to the air, and as temperatures reach the freezing point thoughts of early ice angling begin to stir. As seasoned professionals or new comers to the sport we can all benefit by taking some time to ready ourselves. Making sure your equipment is working properly is the first step. The 2009 NAIFC Tournament Series Flyers are now available for download and printing. Please feel free to distribute these like crazy.
These files are in very high resolution (press quality) PDF format, so they are large (about 10MB each). Please be patient when downloading. The high quality means you can either print them on your color printer at home, take them to Kinko’s or even use a professional printing service without any hassle.
If you plan to print these yourself, we do ask that you print and distribute only color copies. You will need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open and print these files. (more…)
